<p>So, I submitted my UC application already, which asks you to self-report your SAT scores, but I also submitted SAY scores from the collegeboard themselves.</p>
<p>I took it twice, and suffered the strange irony of getting the EXACT same total score both times. But, one of them I did well in math/verbal and worse in writing, the other one I did way better in writing and less so in math/verbal. </p>
<p>It all evens out to the same number, but, I hear most of the UCs don't even consider the writing section. And this is a problem, because the one I self-reported was the one with WORSE math/verbal and better writing.</p>
<p>Since I still sent in the official scores, do they look at both? Or am I stuck with whatever I reported?</p>
