considering im going into a science major and aiming for a top notch school...my counselor told me to go with the first one but idk if she's right so i need more imput...
also...im thinking about premed with a physics major...should i go with ap physics b or ap physics c???
thanks for your help

Wait a minute! You said you wanted to go into a science major, but your counselor still suggested the FIRST option over the second? The only appreciable difference I saw was that the first one had French IV and the second one had AP Chemistry.

If you want to go into a science major, then I'd pick the second option.

If you want to major in physics, then you probably want to pick C since it is calculus-based.

thanks i was thinking that but i wasnt sure because for premed they recommend b...and yes thats the only difference in the schedules...any other thoughts...

I think that the first one looks more diverse because you are taking French...but if you want to major in science the schools would probably like the second one better because it shows that you are really dedicated to science...by the way, which schedule would you rather have? Also...do you really want to take that many classes senior year? It is a good idea in theory, but if you decide to drop some your colleges will think that looks bad.

Whoa...B is a CHALLENGING schedule. I commend you.

what did you take junior year? i always thought jr. year was more important so i hope you took a whole bunch of sci. classes during your junior year...other than that all i have to say is, senior year is supposed to be enjoyed, take the workload if you feel you can handle it and still have fun at the same time :)

junior year i took ap english (consider its not my first language), french 3 h, ap bio, ap american, physics h (they make u take honors before ap), art, and precalculus h...its not that rigorous but i had to take it like this if i wanted to get into physics and calc ap...
i kno trust me i dont do that much studying...i just cram a lot the night before and thats it...with either schedule im sure i will have fun bc thats what senior year is for...im kind of a procrastinator so dont worry about the fun ill still have it...
thanks for you help and please feel free to give me more imput...

bump..........
