My school begins scheduling in December, just a month away, and given the proximity of the choice, I've recently been deliberating over what classes will fill my junior year. Out of curiosity, I'd like to know which option CCer's would advise me to take.

Fyi, I'm aiming for colleges like Rice, Georgetown, Princeton (legacy), Tufts, Emory, USC and WUSTL.

So, for next year, I KNOW I'm taking:

AP Lang
AP Gov
Math Analysis (Honors Pre Calc)
Newspaper

The question comes down to science, my language, and the remaining elective.

For science - AP Chem (which is 1.5 credits), AP Enviro, or Adv. Physics

For language - AP Spanish or Spanish V

Elective - Without AP Chem, AP Art History/AP Psych/two history semester electives; with AP Chem, an easy elective course

Right now, I'm leaning towards Adv. Physics, AP Spanish (Spanish V?), and AP Art History - which saves AP Chem for senior year, as opposed to AP Physics, and means that I can take AP Stats in lieu of Calc BC.

What say you? I hear from an intelligent, EC involved junior that over 3 AP's at my school is "hell." Is it worth going through hell just to get into my top colleges - which is far from a guarantee even if I DO take as many AP's as possible? Your opinions are welcome.
