Which School? Is BS even right for me?

I am considering boarding school for high school (I'm going into 8th). I am VERY close with my parents, I tell them everything. I never liked being away from home for summer camp.

I am an excellent student. I love to learn, and want to get into my college of choice (Stanford) very, very badly. I am currently attending public school. I went to two private schools before, one parochial and one girls school, and disliked both. Now I am considering BS. I currently have a 4.0 and am in High School math classes.

I am involved in Field Hockey, horseback riding, competition cheerleading and gymnastics, and have a special interest in writing.

Would I be better suited to a combination boarding/day school? My parents are wanting to move anyways, since we hate Ohio, where we are now, so should I suggest moving somewhere near a top Boarding/Day prep school? Or is BS the best for me?

Which school? BS or Day? Is BS even realistic for me?

Honestly I don’t think so but I’m just considering appling and haven’t even told my 'rents seriously yet. If your close to your parents it will kind of hurt for them to hear that you don’t want to stay there- mine aren’t mean but we aren’t close and I know I won’t miss them as much as a lot of people would. If you didn’t like private schools why would you consider BS day school? Its practically the same thing…

oh sorry if that sounded mean too, just trying to be honest.

People change–but if you don’t like summer camp, it’s one sign that boarding school may not be for you (at least as a boarder). Why didn’t you like your private schools? What would you ideal school look like?
