which school is more famous

which one is more highly regarded? berkeley or ucla in terms of hummanities?

internationally berkeley is more highly regarded

yes i thought so. well....since i'm rejected to berkeley...i guess i have work triple hard to get 4.0 at ucla to go to some good grad school

Rejected....

Poor Lord-Sauron-He-who-must-not-be-named....Poor, poor, poor Lord-Sauron-He-who-must-not-be-named....

suron,

It is not like UCLA is consideared to be crap. Berkeley is just more famous. UCLA is a respected uni.

Berkeley. .

I do not attend either, but from experience berkeley is well known in the United States but UCLA is far better known internationally. As I said from my own limited experience....

berkeley.......

Berkeley is more internationally renowned..... I think

berkeley............

You poor, poor boy.....cries....you pooor.....poor boooooy~!

I know. He meakes it sound like getting into UCLA is not a great thing.

sefago: i think that's true for east asia!

i am happy i got in. i like la...the mediterranean scrub climate, the museums, the asian stores.

charizard, do u think i'm still sulking because i got rejected from berkeley? no way jos

You're not sulking? Don't you know what you have lost? An opportunity to see Berkley which is Da Bomb, and mingle with your kind in San Francisco! The chance to enjoy cold foggy winters without the sun and navigate windy streets with unusual people. Have you lost your reasoning or just the ability to cope with what you've lost? Your newfound optimism is flawed! You had better start crying and return to the ash from whench you came.

Internationally, some people think there is only one university of california.

There is only one. The other are colleges of the university.

ucla is also very good...

Literate people? That's a big group, isn't it? I'm pretty sure that most literate people don't even know what's UCLA or Berkeley. Of course, Berkeley has more endowment and less students but when it comes to study the person is always more important than the institution. No college is going to make you great just because of its name, right? And obviously none of these two colleges is an obstacle to a person's success; quite the contrary.

Yeah Berkeley's a slightly bigger name, but neither school's name will make up for deficiencies a graduate may have. (lack of work experience, unimpressive gpa, dull personality, etc)

Nauru: Ever watched narutaru? (shadow star?) Creepy how the girl kills her father at the end in the last episode isn't it?
