Im a student in Ontario and i want to eventually go to medical school at UCLA.
Which school should i choose to better my chances of getting into UCLA. I hear that McMasters health science program is really good, but UBC has a better reputation in the US.
Which school would be best for me? Explain please.

What does UBC stand for?

University of British Columbia. To the op, Mac Health Sci is good but Mac as a whole is not as well regarded and may have less options for you if you choose to not do Pre med. Also, check if UCLA takes Canadians for Med School.

Thanks for replying. UCLA does admit canadian students. How hard would it be to get a good GPA if I were to go to UBC. Does it prepare you for med school?

I have some friends at UBC, but they’re in engineering, so I can’t really say. However, BC is a good university and will undoubtedly prepare you well; I don’t know about grade deflation :S. Mind you, much of the population of Vancouver goes to UBC and Vancouver is pretty competitive, so it might be hard. That being said, Mac Health/Sci won’t be a piece of cake either.
