I'm applying to the Jerome Fisher Program (dual degree Eng + Bus). It is suppperrrr difficult to get into. On the app we need to choose our tentative major and pick a college. However, I'm unsure which college to apply to because I want to major in either Finance or in biomedical engineering.

basically my question is this...
if worst comes to worst and I'm not satisfied is it easier to transfer from Wharton >> Engineering or from Engineering >> Wharton?

&& is it easy to change majors within a "school"?

much easier to go from Wharton to Engineering school. However, also please consider that based on statistics alone, it is much harder to get into Wharton than engineering. So, assuming you are perfectly indifferent between business and engineering as a backup, the question is do you want the higher chance of attending Penn or the higher flexibility within Penn?

Wharton to engineering, or Wharton to dual degree (non M&T) with engineering is pretty easy. I don’t even think there’s a GPA cutoff. Engineering to Wharton is pretty competitive though.
