This kind of a funny (odd) question, and I'm not quite sure if it goes here, but a mod can move it if it seems way out of place...

So, I've applied to a bunch of colleges, and, though I still don't know which ones I'll get accepted to, my grades and ecs and scores are high enough that some will probably pick me. I wanted to see if anyone recommended any of the schools over any of the other ones and why. Probably be good to know that I plan on majoring in Comparative Lit where it's available, Lit/English or Modern Foreign Languages (probably German or Russian) where it's not. So here's the list...

Bard
Brandeis
USC
UCLA
UC Berkeley
UCSD
University of the Pacific (got accepted there already)
Harvard (this is very unsure, my thinking right now is leaning toward that I won't get in, though some people think otherwise, and even if I did the cost is high and financial aid will probably be minimal)

So... any ideas? Any help that you could proffer would be much appreciated :D

UCLA or UCSD, possibly UCB. I think harvard is incredibly overrated and besides that, it doesn't fit in well with your other choices. U. of pacific- very nice safety, but my guess from your list is that's all it is. USC, I've just never liked this school. I don't really have any basis in anything actually. Brandeis, I love this school, but it doesn't seem to fit the general trend ofyour list. Bard- I know next to nothing about this school. I think UCSD is in third, than UCB, than UCLA, though all 3 offer amazing oppurtunties.

Sorry, but I do not know very much about these schools forgeign langauge/compartive literature programs

Thanks much! Any other opinions? Oh, and, though celebrian25 did exactly what I asked :), I would like to add that specific opinions would be very much appreciated. Thanks again!

Edit: Yah, UOP is my safety, and I've heard good things about it, so I figured it'd be a good choice. Bard and Brandeis were on the list mostly because they seemed like good schools when I checked them out (online of course :P), though ya, they are kind of oddball with the set otherwise CA schools.
