Which schools do not look at freshmen grades?

<p>Which schools don't take freshmen grades into consideration? I know Stanford doesn't, which other ones don't?</p>

<p>I went to an NYU informational sessions, the head Admissions Officer said they don’t look at freshman grades because they understand most kids have a rough transition from middle to high school especially in cases like moving to an east coast high school where competition is the norm… so New York University is one of them =)</p>

<p>I don’t think Michigan does. Some of the UCs might not also.</p>

<p>None of the UCs include freshman year GPA as part of the GPA calculation. However, it does get included as part of the overall record.</p>
