People generalize for a reason.

i think a lot of the assertions in this thread have just been flat-out stereotypes.
and on closer examination, a lot of stereotypes just aren't true.

jessica alba's boyfriend is good looking. He also looks pretty tall.

I don't know about J. Lo or Monica Bellucci, but you're right about Catherine Zeta Jones... Michael Douglas isn't really a looker.

I guess you might be right that there are more women willing to compromise on looks, and that's because they can be woo'd by things like confidence, but I'd still say that the vast majority of women have strict appearance requirements, just like most guys do.

To be honest, I don't even like the word shallow, though. I mean, it's like the people that use the word act like they're superior or something, because they don't value appearance as much as personality. I like to think that values are different, not that one is better than another. And I wouldn't say that appearance is the most important thing to me. I won't choose a hotter girl over a less good looking one even if she has a bad personality. However, at the same time, I can't be with a girl that I'm not physically attracted to. Guys always talk about appearance, though, because it's the first thing that we notice.

I think the better question for the thread is

"What schools have the easiest girls?"

True, there's no point in going to a school if the only thing you can do is window shop.

St. Mary's College of California

"When do you ever see a guy with a girl who makes more money than him. guys want looks , girls want money. its human nature"

Hell no. I can't name one girl friend of mine who factors money into consideration when picking a guy. True, the stereotypical Golddiggers will always be around, but they're about as common as a guy who will only date a girl with Pam Anderson boobs. Besides them I can't think of too many women I know who married or date men for their money. I know I'm not one of them, I'd actually prefer to marry a guy who makes less than me as weird as it may sound. I'd like to think that I'm the one with power. ;)
