Which schools should I aim for/apply to with my stats? (CA)

That helps a lot. I think they are still a slight reach until your SAT IIs are known, but those SAT I scores are definitely above average for every school on your list.

Bah, I didn't so well on the Math IIC exam today. I left 7 blank (realized right afterward that I could have gotten 2 of these EASILY...:( ), which means the highest score I can get is probably ~780/790. Factoring in stupid mistakes and what not, I think I got a ~740.

Azure326:

UCB/UCLA: Slight Reach (Engineering)
UCSD: Match (Engineering)
UCD: Safety

I agree with flopsy.

What if I get a B in my AP Calculus class for my first semester grade? Does this change things and to what degree?

BLAH. I just got my Math IIC re-take score: 740

Azure326, I was wondering is AP euro hist really hard or u just didn't study in the way u wanted? I'm giving my AP euro this year and I'm rather finding it pretty easy too! (getting A+ in class)

I would have suggested you apply to Stanford which really has quite an amazing engineering department but I think the deadline has passed (last year's deadline was Dec 15). You would definitely have had a chance there.

how could you only got 700 on math? if you had 800, I'd say you're in any of the above school. Besides caltech & berkeley, i don't think other schools can reject you
