Which Schools Should I Apply To (I'll Chance You) PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!

I've already applied to most of my schools and am using this time to submit 2-3 extra potential apps to other schools. Looking at my record, which schools should I apply to (I'll probably consider the ones you list that I haven't yet applied to)

Intended major: biomedical engineering

GPA (weighed): 3.99. Ranked 33/333

SAT's: 2250 in 1 sitting (800 M/730 CR/720 W), 800 Math II, 730 Bio E, 720 Chem, 750 US.
Rigorous schedule: AP Physics C, AP Calc AB, Research in Molecular Biology, AP Gov, English Honors, AP European History, AP Stats for senior year. I've always taken honors/ap classes. In the past, AP Chem, AP Bio, AP Econ, APUSH, Spanish I-IV Honors.

EC's: I'm on the Debate team at my school, have gone to nationals and have won enough awards to seem accomplished. I am VP of my club as well and regularly mentor others. I created 3 websites for another club and have gone to nationals twice. I am an officer for that club, which is related to history. I am part of Spanish National Honor Society, tutoring peers during lunch. I went to states for DECA, which is a business-oriented club. I play the violin, play racquetball, am on the leadership team in taekwondo (have been doing it for 11 years and am second degree black belt).

Volunteer: I volunteer at a nursing home, have become the youngest project coordinator ever to promote the organization. I volunteered at a science museum over the summer, explaining various exhibits. Was also a team statistician for a baseball team one year.

To add, I won National Merit Scholar Commended Student award and AP Scholar with Honors this past year.

So????????

Have you looked at Georgia tech? They have a great biomedical engineering program! Another more underrated one that I think you can get into no problem is case western!

Chance me back?

Anywhere you want you’re a good applicant anywhere. I’d go to USC for engineering.

Caltech as a big reach
MIT as a reach
Cornell as a match
Georgia Tech/Michigan as a safety

all are good for biomed, cornell probably slightly less so

wouldn’t mit be a big reach and cornell a reach? Thanks for the input, I’ll probably look at Georgia Tech!!

Places with great biomedical engineering schools:

MIT, Stanford, UC Berkeley, UCSD, John Hopkins, duke, rice, Umich, case western, Upenn, Uwash.

You’d be a very competitive applicant at all of these universities so I’d apply to a handful of them

Chance back!!!

I second Johns Hopkins (though I shouldn’t, since I’m applying there  ). Also, UCB, UCSD (safety), and possibly UCLA. Chance me back?

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1419548-ucs-state-privates-some-ivies-will-chance-back.html</a></p>

My personall recommendation would be Duke Stanford and MIT- any top school with great engineering programs. Sorry I don’t know much about engineering schools :stuck_out_tongue: please chance me! http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1419574-chance-me-top-colleges-will-chance-back.html</a></p>

How about the University of Michigan? It’s pretty competitive if you’re out of state, but they’re truly a great school with marvelous graduate programs as well.

You have a great chance for all the UCs and perhaps some private college or ivies. Top universities for biomedical engineering include: John Hopkins, MIT, Georgia Institute of Technology, Duke and others. RaySmith2 gave a great link that displays all the top universities for your intended major.
