FIDM has locations in LA, San Diego and other Cali locations.

I don't know too much about Marist but I know a girl from FIT who transferred to Marist. Not sure what she is majoring in though...

anyone no anything about the drexel design and merchandising program?

Which fashion business related school is also good in other aspects, such as acadmic?

anyone heard of George Brown College? is it good?

"THe only exception I would make are for the 3/1 joint degree programs with FIT, where you spend 3 years in a university setting and the last year at FIT in New York. Then you could use your FIT experience and connections to get your first job.
"

does anyone have more information about this? caz i don't seem to find info about this on FIT website. thanks

I know that several schools have the 3/1 option with FIT. Some that I've come across that offer this include: University of Wisconsin-Madison, University of Delaware, SUNY Oneonta, Buffalo State College. I'm sure there are probably others as well.

My D is a junior also interested in Fashion merch. We visited Marist a few weeks ago and really like it. They have a large design and merch,. dept, with internships in NYC (only 2 hour bus ride from the city). It seems to be a big dept at the school, although it was a holiday so the classes weren't in session. It may be what you are looking for...definetely a LAC feel, nice campus on the Hudson.

My niece attends SUNY ONeonta, they have the 3-1 FIT program. Oneonta is kind of rural from what my brother says, not too much going on, but she likes the school so far.

Just looked at the FIT site and found the following info....may be just what we are looking for! This is the list of what FIT calls visiting students, basically you apply through your home school and spend a year at FIT. Cool!
