I have taken both the ACT and SATs, but I am not sure which I should send. I am applying to a few top tier schools (ivy leagues, wash u, etc). My SAT score is 2200 ( 740 CR & writing, 720 math) and ACT is 32 (29 science, 35 reading, 31 or 32 math can't remember, 33 writing). Should I send only one of these scores to the schools or both? Thank you for your time :D

Bump, any advice would be much appreciated

2200 is a somewhat stronger score, as per [Estimated Relationship between ACT Composite Score and SAT CR+M+W Score](http://www.act.org/aap/concordance/estimate.html), but these are essentially comparable.

I don’t see what value the ACT scores add to your profile, although they probably wouldn’t hurt, either (most schools will use the stronger score anyway). My suggestion would be not to send them. However, if you really don’t want a school to see these scores, make sure your high school removes them from any transcript they send on your behalf.

I agree with Descartesz in the idea of not sending the ACT scores. They are not bad at all, and many would love those scores, but since your SAT scores are very strong, they will be better, especially since they are actually in the range of top tier schools, while your ACT scores might be in the lower percentiles.

SAT is stronger than ACT, so no need to pay to sent it.
