I have taken the SAT twice and ACT once. First SAT was 730 CR 670 M 660 W (2060). Second test went up to 760 CR 700 M 700 W (2160). My ACT composite is 32. When I've looked at score comparison charts, a 2160 SAT and 32 ACT are literally the same score. I've already submitted SAT to some schools because of the free reports, but now I will be applying to some Ivy's as well as the University of Chicago and have the choice of which to send. I know test scores are just one admission factor, but any advice on which I should send? Thanks!

If you have the option, I would send both to show that you are consistent on both tests. I’m kind of in the same predicament where my SAT score and ACT score are practically the same, but on some conversion charts my ACT score is equivalent to my SAT score + 50 points. I would consider sending both just to show that you took both test and excelled both times. It also depends on major- where I would think a math/science major would send the ACT and a humanities/english major would send the SAT- but that’s just my opinion!

agreed

Thanks for the responses. I found out that UChicago only looks at CR+M for SAT which is higher than my ACT composite. Again, test scores are just one factor, but which such great competition every little thing helps!
