Which section of the math SAT is the hardest for you?

On the math portion of the SAT, there are 3 sections. A 20 questions section, 18 questions section, and 16 question section. Personally, I tend to screw up on either the 18 question section or the 16 question section. On the 20 question one, I only tend to get maybe 1 wrong, and omit 1 question. The rest are a disaster. On the 18 question section I usually get 3-4 wrong, and 2 wrong on the 16 question section. It’s usually careless errors on geometry questions, but it’s mostly the obscurely worded word problems that trip me up. Oh, and the questions that have the roman numerals also give me trouble.

I make silly mistakes in the grid-ins. Really hard not to…

Generally it’s the grid-ins as there is no possibility of process of elimination.

Also the last couple questions of each section, they always try to confuse you.

@Suly99 I feel your pain. I would have a full 800 if it weren’t for the gridins. You get one question wrong on those and it drops you 30 points even if they aren’t counted against you… :frowning:
