Which to major? Help!

My goal is to work at a pharmaceutical company and make new medicine someday. Which major should i major in? Pharmacology, chemistry, toxicology, engineering?

The program offering the most opportunities to study biochemistry may be of the greatest benefit to you given your career preference.

If you do engineering, it is likely that chemical engineering that includes biomolecular engineering courses would be most applicable.

However, those good pharmaceutical jobs are extremely competitive.

So chemical engineering would be good right? What about Pharmacology?

Pharmacology would be best. Maybe pharmacy school in the future.

It doesn’t matter all that much. Pharmaceutical companies aren’t much in the R&D business anymore. If you want to develop new medicine, stick to academia (and the competitive world of pain it is), otherwise you’ll just be working on the n-th variation of common ailment medicine.
