<p>Not everyone follows the same textbook; however, chemical engineering programs are pretty standard in that they actually don’t require a whole lot of chemistry. All that is required, usually is a general chemistry sequence (all basic topics) and some organic chemistry.</p>
<p>Are you in college, or still in high school? If you’re a high schooler, I recommend taking AP Chemistry … this will give you all the preparation you need.</p>
