MSU - Mankato or Moorhead
Recently I came across a post where i read about universities offering In-state Tuition fee for International Students. I would really like to know, how well-known universities are both of them. what’s your take on both the cities and amenities available at both schools.

Click on the yellow diamonds to be taken to campus-specific pages for the MN State system of university campuses.

These schools are of a similar status to the UW System schools (not including Madison and, to a lesser degree, Milwaukee) – they are known locally/regionally, but have limited national reputations. Their students come mostly from the state of Minnesota. Here are all of them

Bemidji State
Minnesota State-Moorhead
Southwestern State
Minnesota State-Mankato
St. Cloud State
Winona State
Metro State

I checked a few, including Mankato and Moorhead, and it does seem they offer state tuition “scholarships” to international students who meet their guidelines. Search for “international students” on each campus Web site for more information. (Minnesota also has a separate system – the University of Minnesota system – which includes another set of schools including the state flagship, the U of Minnesota-Twin Cities.)

The geography and demographics are quite similar to the UW System schools, too. Mankato is a small city on the rolling prairie, Moorhead a small city on flat prairie but part of a somewhat larger metro area because of its proximity to Fargo, North Dakota. I will let you research the others. Note that Metro State, in the large Twin Cities area, is a commuter school and does not have student housing. Generally speaking, these schools will present the same set of issues and advantages to you as the UW System schools.

University of Minnesota-Morris charges the same tuition for everyone that attends; in-state, OOS, or international. It is a small public LAC with about 1800 students. It is not in an urban area but a very small town. You might chcek and see how many international students they have enrolled.

Tuition $11,322
Student Fees $770
Housing $3,370
Meal Plan $3,750

MN-Morris is an excellent school but it does not offer the business degree the OP is seeking.
