I'm in a bit of a dilemma right now. My high school has its rank of courses as Honors, Accelerated, and College Prep. Honors is the highest rank, Accelerated is the middle, and College Prep is the lowest. I'm wondering if for my Junior year I should take Honors Chemistry or Honors Math (Pre-Calculus) or Accelerated Math (Algebra 2/Trig).
If I were to choose to remain in Accelerated for those two classes, and manage to receive mid-90's, would it look better to colleges than being in Honors for those classes and getting low to mid 80's? Thanks for any answers.

choose the hard courses. it looks better.

Are you sure you can’t get a grade of 90s or higher if you do Honors? Maybe it’s a just a little bit more effort, but the results are really worth it.

Thanks for answers. Any more input someone could give?

Take Honors, definitely. How do you know that you can’t achieve As in those too?

College adcoms see things like this: Rigor Of Courses > Grade Point Average

But don’t get a C, b/c then they’re gonna say “Why did you take something that you know you’re not gonna do well on??”.
