White House Internship -- Accept or Decline?

Shanntotheont - I agree, the wait is nerve-wracking. My daughter sent an email to the White House a couple of days ago, and the response that she received today indicated that she would be advised by April 27th if she had been selected for the internship. I guess that means a possible three more weeks of waiting- good luck to you!

I received the same email this morning... I hope I get one of my internship choices... I've turned into a nervous wreck about it all

Have they given you guys the phone interview yet? that caught my sister by surprise but she did really well on it haha. so just be prepared for that!

Hi, I'm also wondering if anyone has heard yea or nay from the White House regarding the summer term.

not yet!! they said the 27th

Just thought I'd let you know, I applied for the internship and got a phone call this last Wednesday letting me know I was accepted into the program. Best of luck to the rest of you. I can't wait, it's going to be a truly amazing experience!

Congrats! It's a great year to be a gator, in more ways than one. What is your major and did they let you know what department you'll be working in?

Thanks a lot! It really is a fantastic time to be a Gator! My major is economics (but I'm on a pre-med track) and I'll be working with the USA Freedom Corps, which was my top choice. I'm really excited and all the people I've talked to have been fantastic, the problem comes in trying to scramble to get some adequate and affordable housing!

I think I'm staying at GW. However, I know one thing - DO NOT STAY AT CATHOLIC!
