Congressional internships are like 15-20 hours a week. But a White House intern is expected to work M-F 9am-6pm AT LEAST, and they are to work no less than 4.5 days per week. This means a minimum of 45 hours per week, and exclusively during times when any student would have class. Given that these internships are generally for students, how is any student supposed to work at the White House during Fall or Spring? Why are there not different requirements for Fall/Spring vs. Summer interns?
