<p>Firstdue312, same here. Contacted by the department, but it wasn’t an interview, a couple of days before the email. Well since it happened to both of us, maybe that is a common practice?</p>
<p>Did anyone else notice that the notification date on the WH Intern page now reads “week of November 15”? Didn’t it used to just say Nov. 15? I thought it was weird that they’d notify us on a Sunday… “week of” means we should probably adjust our expectations to not hear until later in the week.</p>

I have always believed that the week ends on a sunday, and not on Saturday.
But many people I have talked to say “the week of the 15th” means that we would not hear anything this week, but instead next.</p>

<p>The office of personal management interviewed me…also who cares when they will let us know guys! we tried our best! just be patient and see what happens.</p>

<p>i didn’t think it was that big of a deal either…but I think the week starts on sunday, nov.15th, so I think we should know sometime during that week, but mostly like that friday.</p>

<p>Where is everyone who applied? ahh I remember how hectic the fall notification date was…they kept pushing it back.</p>

<p>Good luck everybody. I’m so nervous that i have been reading the posts from the summer. Ha ha ha. Also something interesting…i put white house internship into twitter, and some guy said he got accepted a couple of days ago. Interesting?</p>
<p>Yea i feel like we’ll find out friday. I applied for the fall and never got interviewed or anything and then was rejected. But two weeks after some guy from DHS interviewed me over the phone. I got an acceptance email a few days later. I found out last week from my boss that the people that didn’t make the final cut get their applications sent out to the agencies. So theres always still hope if you didn’t get interviewed</p>
