<p>I got an email saying they will let us know the week of Nov 23. They would have to let us know before Thanksgiving, so I’m thinking maybe Mon-Wednesday. But I predict Tuesday.</p>
<p>I’m so mad. They delayed us!! Aghhh, we will not find out until 11/23.</p>

<p>Whomever among us (hopefully all) that are admitted, promise to (respectfully) take this up with someone. To push back the notification date is, of course, the sole prerogative of the WH, but when they do it at the last possible moment of the old deadline, it’s tortuous to the thousands upon thousands of us who have applied.</p>
<p>I hate to be a total downer, but with next week being thanksgiving and people taking time off etc. I totally wouldn’t be surprised if we didn’t hear until dec 4th (just guessing since its a friday, or if not, then sometime the first week of dec). It is so hard being this anxious all the time, this is miserable</p>

<p>In the summer, I was hoping that we would get our answer before the Fourth of July. This time, we’re supposed to get it right before Thanksgiving. All kidding aside, I certainly hope we get the news on Tuesday. I think it would add a certain magisterial gravity to either of those national holidays. White House trivia, anyone?</p>

<p>nope not a thing. and seeing as the administration is announcing their plans on Afghanistan either today or tomorrow, I doubt their internships are at the top of their concerns. Might be a long wait ladies and gents</p>
<p>I guess we will not find out today. Will prob have to wait until next week (next friday) if they dont tell us tomorrow. This is getting pretty pathetic!</p>
<p>If I don’t hear by tomorrow morning, I have to accept another internship. The delay was pretty unprofessional.</p>
<p>I just want to KNOW at this point so I can move on with my life. This is frustrating because the person I spoke with on the phone said we would hear by early to mid November. Obviously not the case.</p>

<p>I think this is kinda how government processes go sometimes… maybe this is a lesson in patience for us, or a way to get us used to the way things work. And at least we received a delay notification email last week. 
Sounds like that might have been an improvement from previous cycles.</p>
<p>I know that everyone is busy with Afghan strategy and the State Dinner tonight on the South Lawn, but seriously, 1300 people work in the WH complex. Someone, somewhere has the time to push “send.”</p>
