Who all is applying ED or RD??

I'm applying ED to Whitman and I'm really curious to see my prospective future classmates. I know these lists are always kind of superficial, but I'm curious to see who else is applying. So just throw down your screename/location/academic stats/ECs/possible major and let the fun begin!

russdelabuss/woodinville, WA/3.77 - 2100/lots of drama/politics major?

My daughter applied ED as well.

Son is planning on applying RD. That is if he doesn't get into his ED school.

I'm definitely applying RD if I don't get in to Dartmouth ED.

I basically want to go either here, Dartmouth, or Brown. They're the only schools that I know well and still like a whole lot.

My only worry is that because my beloved boyfriend goes to Whitman, I might feel like I'm following him or something like that if I attend school there. I loved Whitman, but I don't want to feel like one of those dumb girls who just goes where their boyfriends do. Because that would make me feel lame.

acc_bound/Austin, TX/3.91 - 2280/newspaper editor, volleyball, SADD/absolutely undecided.

I'm applying RD. I won't even be able to visit campus until at least March. :(

Wow, karasoldout, I applied to Dartmouth ED, too! Never going to get in, though :P. Are you from WA?

xxmademoiselle/near Bellingham, WA/2100 SAT (770 V, 670 M, 660 W), 3.89 UW GPA in only community college classes (have taken all my classes here), SAT IIs - 700 US Hist., 780 Lit/tons of drama (directing, acting, writing, stage crew, lightboard operator, stage manager), black belt in TaeKwonDo, chair of community college activities committee, VP of honor society, other things.../ no idea - something in the humanities, though

I'm from NorCal.

so russdelabuss, I guess you probably go to WHS, I go to Inglemoor, it's funny how you run into people close-by on CC.
Anyway, here we go...

estrella72/kenmore, wa/3.96-2160/singing, some drama, leadership of some organizations/hope to design own international relations major, or maybe do government, politics
RD

yup, i go to the great WHS...do u know sam zielke at inglemoor?

the not-so-great, i think you mean.

yeah, i do know sam. ok i know this sounds weird but i think i might have met you once, for about 5 min. b/c i was with sam once and we went and saw someone named russel and that sounds like it's your name.

yea haha i'm gonna guess that was me. i went to elementary school w/ sam and we were really tight until last year or so. hit me up sometime on AIM and we'll figure it out. my screename is russdelabuss

haha, how weird, i wasn't sure if it was actually you. i was gonna IM you but you're not on--which is probably good, i guess, because i have some apps due tomorrow and i still haven't written a few essays. i'm running out of ways to put them off.
you can hit ME up if you want:

i have no idea whether or not to apply ed II (that in itself is probably the best reason not to). When I visited whitman i loved it, and it has the small community feel that i want. however, when i visited santa clara i loved the location and the people. it is a difficult decision, as they are both so different. i have been bouncing back and forth between the two for a month or so, and i am afraid that i will not get into whitman if i apply rd.
it is quite a dilemma.

I'm applying regular decision.

Look at my screen name. Guess what school I go to? :P

My stats are low. So Whitman is a reach.

3.39 unweighted, 3.9 weighted
top 40%. 2000 SAT i.
6 AP courses, numerous honors.
Not so great-EC, I have to admit.

I have an interview on the 28th. D=
