Who are the best Economics professors at Stanford?

<p>I'm looking for the top 3 or 5 economics professors at Stanford...any help would be appreciated!</p>

<p>I have to disagree with NJDS. I’m an Econ major (junior) and from my experience the teaching quality in the Econ department is average at best. There are quite a few big names, to be sure, but their fame tends to come from their research rather than their teaching prowess.</p>

<p>Some of the best professors I’ve had are Marcelo Clerici-Arias, Mark Tendall, and Robert Staiger.</p>

<p>^i definitely answered that question without having personal experience and just basing it from my friends opinions. Marcelo, Tendall, and Battacharya are good</p>
