Who are transfer applicants?

I wanna know who a transfer applicant is & what transfer admission means.

Is it something like suppose I’m studying in an indian university. After completing my 1 year here, I wanna get admitted into a US university for rest of my undergraduate program. So can I apply after completing 1 year here to any us university as a transfer applicant? Or is that something else?

Please tell me.

You will most likely be considered a transfer student. Anyone who goes to college/university and wants to switch to a different one is a transfer student.

At that point, you would be looking at low acceptance rates and a lack of financial aid. Is that okay with you?
