Would you rather go to a college that no one from your high school is attending, or do you want a lot of familiar faces? I personally want to come in unknown, so that i can truly get a fresh start in life.

I would love to have some of my good friends in college with me...I mean I'm gonna be with thousands of new people, it's not like I couldn't meet any if I didn't want to.

But, that probably won't be the case. I know people at every college I applied to, but not many are what I'd call "close" friends.

unknown..

my sis goes to umich and she pretty much hangs out with a lot of the same kids she hung out with in high school.. but the cool thing is, coming home is a lot easier to find a ride

I think it's better to go to a university where nobody from your highschool is going. Why? Because you're forced to make new friends, to have a fresh start. Otherwise, you may form cliques with those from your hometown, and it'd become highschool pt. II in terms of socializing.

my sister's boyfriend ended up at UVA with his whole high school crew of guys, and they all stayed best friends and it worked out for them it seems. i think both situations can be good
