Hi! I would just like to know who else out there got the UCSB honors e-mail.
My e-mail went something like this:
"Congratulations on your admission to UC Santa Barbara and to the Honors Program in the College of Letters and Science! Because of your outstanding academic record, you have been admitted to this highly selective program, designed to enrich and enhance your undergraduate experience at UC Santa Barbara.
The Honors Program offers you opportunities to work closely with our world-renowned faculty through special honors seminars, sections, and contracts…"
I’m beyond shocked as to how I received honors. I’ve checked around and apparently the honors invite goes out to the top 10% of applicants. However, I do not believe I have such an astounding GPA…if anything I might be on the margin ^^ll like seriously. I got a C first semester of AP bio and they accepted me as a pre-biology/pre-med major. basically, I want to know if this email is a scam or the real deal! If anyone can confirm this, I’d be extremely thankful
