no, i don't think adding a photo/any other gimmick is a good idea. trust me, i know this from experience.

I haven't. Shizzzz :(

princessbell>> I don't think it's a good idea to attach a photo. It wouldn't be relevant. Let your essay speak for itself...

just decided to apply Yale EA this Tuesday (was going to wait for Regular @ first)...so..hmmmm i'd say my application is nonexistent as of now..yucks :(

only submitting next week ):
my supplement is a messsssss

I still have to write all my essays (Common App and Yale supplemental), plus finish filling out Common App.

Yeah, basically I'm screwed.

This thread makes me feel better about myself. :)

yeah, i rethought it and i'm not.

a picture of me passing out from exhaustion and hypoglycemia probably wouldn't help me very much anyway

thanks for caring. :)

Whew, just submitted. Now I just have a feeling of dread over whether I screwed up somehow and whether I'll get in. Greeeat.

I'm only submitting on Wednesday i think ):

@TheWerg: Haha yes i always have the same thought every time after I submit something or send a mail. Like maybe i screwed up somewhere or misspelled some words. Don't worry i'm sure u've scrutinised every word in ur application at least three times :P

im submitting mine at 3:33, so at least it can be the application from half-hell. 27th

just 4 more days until i apply... then the terrible month and a half wait until dec. 15

Submitted!

i'm mailing it tommorow...priority!

i too will mail it tomorrow

mmm. I think I'll turn it in at around midnight tonight. :/

DAHHHHH!
I JUST SENT MINE!
now, the wait...

Confused:
Yeah, probably five times, I looked at the print preview, saw something I didn't like quite the way it was, and went back and fixed it. Just like changing one little phrase or something. Gah, I'm soo paranoid. Too much Thomas Pynchon.

I also just realized a way I could improve my essay. Too late, I guess.

some of you are mailing it in? i did mine online; do they have a preference?

well, it does say on their website that they STRONGLY encourage you to turn it in online.
Yup, here it is, direct quote from their site: "While you may submit either an electronic or paper version of your application to Yale College, we strongly encourage you to apply to Yale online."
