I do! I know it. I already know I'm going to get rejected and I'm going to spend the day crying my eyes out. UGH stupid SAT 1140 and 3.32 unweighted GPA. UGH UGH UGH

I'm a very pessimistic person, btw.

maybe if you applied to only ivy schools, but a person with a 1600 SAT and 4.0 doesn't get into every school. As long as you have a good list with safeties and matches, you ought to be OK

ya what he said. what about community colleges? and then transfering into a real college?

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA you aren't getting in to college.

Community.... college.....
X.X

jlaws30...that's not very funny, nor is it considerate.

platinumtlc---try to be optimistic. I know that it is really hard to do, especially if you are worried. I don't know about the schools that you have applied to, but for many schools, your test scores are fine.

Well, I only applied to one school.

So I could very well get rejected from every college I applied to.

Hmm, is it really wise to only apply to one school? Well, I guess it would be okay if you're sure you'll get in.

Well, I live in Quebec...we have a 13-year secondary school system.

I'm in grade 12, so I still have next year to apply.

@ jpps1: Seeing as you simply "applied" to remain at your current school, you were accepted to everywhere you applied. LOL.

@ platinumtlc: If you applied to a safety school, you'll have gotten in somewhere. Besides, community college isn't so bad; it a lot cheaper...

No, I applied to a university. Though I guess you can say that by paying the fees at my current high school for next year, I'm applying there as well...

You don't have to go to a community college. Though that resume pails in comparision to the elitist ivy people on this site, you could still get into most state schools. Look at state schools. Many are good, even though they are easy to get into.

Geez... that's nothing. My bro got a 17 on the ACT (less than an 800 SAT) and his GPA is like 2.2. If you really have to, retake the SAT's. I don't think they'll care as much about you taking it more than 3 times. 3.32 is not a bad GPA. It's what people SHOULD have. Peace out, you'll do fine.

yeah for real 3.2 unweighted will get you into most state universities, unfortunately that SAT score does hurt, but couldnt you retake in January?

do i hear a fellow canadian? i used to live in toronto. did you apply to queens or mcgill? those are good schools.

I took the SATs 3 times already and each time I only went up 10 points.

gh0st--I applied to the University of Chicago. I see no point in leaving a year early to go to McGill (in my own city)...and no other Canadian Us interest me.

do some major cramming. maybe that would help. practice practice practice.

do you have something very impressive on your app like helped with world poverty (no i am not kidding, one girl at my school got a scholarship helping vietnam kids)?

you can get into college. just depend which one.

don't commit suicide.
