Who from CA got a letter in the mail?

Note the last part, "in the mail." :)

The wait until Monday is agonizing!

I'm guessing the lack of responses means no one?

In another thread, a few people from CA said they got their decision.

You guys I don't know if this is the right thread to post this, but i'm in greece, and I'm i just got on, and i read this india post that said that pretty much all internationals accepted have gotten their decision, and i'm still waiting, IS THIS TRUE???? If it is, then how come there are no internationals on our ED thread (besides canada...)?

They did a reverse lookup to see if any packages were being sent to their addresses. No UPS = no acceptance.

They think they have their decision. They looked up some ID number (650) and tracked a package from New Jersey to their hometown online with UPS. Having a package=accepted; otherwise, deferred. That, at least, was the conclusion they drew. That help?

Wait, isn't 650 only for internationals?? I think the people from CA just called their local post offices, not the online check...

Yeah I think that 650 was only for int'ls.

i live in ca and there was nothing for me in the mail on saturday

Hardly anyone else in California got their letters either (just East coast people in big cities and almost everyone in the New Jersey area were the ones who got theirs yesterday).

i live in CA and i got my deferral letter yesterday

The good news is that the post office processes mail on Sunday, and accepted CA people have been able to pick up their packages, which means that a big envelope will definitely arrive tomorrow if there is one to come. Unfortunately, if nothing comes, I think that means a small, first-class envelope is on its way.

Def, that must have felt terrible when you saw the envelope. I've been emotionally preparing for that moment (80% sure that I'm deferred). Where in CA do you live?

Yeah guys thanks, from what I understand if I receive a letter tomorow odds are it's an acceptance one otherwise I'll wait for an email

I am from CA
I recieved mine(defer) yesterday via reg mail.
I live near LA
maybe that is why I have and you don't?
remember no news is good news.( i wish i didn't have mine yesterdy) I would have had one more weekend filled w hope and dream!!!
good luck

thanks, good luck to everyone, i think we deserve a spot in pton just because we can tolerate this agony...

I'm in the Bay Area, which is technically closer to NJ. Weird. I also agree with no news sometimes being good news. It's exactly why I'm refusing to call fro my decision; I only need to be told that I was deferred once. A letter following a phone call would just be rubbing it in.

thanks, good luck to everyone, we all deserve a spot in pton just because we can tolerate this agony...

17 poster, can I ask why you don't have a username?

oops sorry, double post
