So they’re still sending out acceptance letters, right? I’m so worried that they didn’t tell me by now because I’m not getting in!

I got accepted about two weeks ago, I submitted my application January 14. I called my admission counselor for an update and about an hour later I received the email accepting me. Don’t worry, they’re still sending out acceptances. My friend called her admission counselor and they told her they’re still reviewing applications. USF my top school along with LMU, now it’s just down to who gives me the most financial aid. Either way I can’t wait until Fall!

Update! I just got waitlisted today not much hope now, but I’ll choose to stay on.

*on the waitlist

legendaryme, how did you find out you were waitlisted? What are your stats?

They mailed me a letter, kkristen12. GPA is 3.28 UW, 3.48 W, 1650 SAT: 520 CR, 550 M, 580 W.

I’m sorry to hear you were wait listed. Hopefully it turns out for the best though! Good luck :)

I also got in!
From Los Angeles, CA
USF is in my top 2, I haven’t received a financial aid package yet though :(

steveo4ever, when and how did you hear? Congrats!

steveo4ever, you will get you package in the mail maybe a week after your acceptance letter was sent.

My friend and i both applied to their school of nursing around early january…I got my acceptance letter early march and she got her rejection letter yesterday We both had good comm. service, 3.9+ GPA, essays, but her SAT score was a bit lower than mine.

I hope the best for all!

I found out through email first then like 3-4 days letter I received the acceptance letter in the mail, so pumped

So…I got my rejection letter today. I’m so confused though since my stats were definitely good enough to get in. Parchment.com said I had a 94% chance to get in. I also got into UC Santa Cruz which is a harder school to get into…
I have no idea why this happened.

Sorry to hear that, voldymoldy.

I got accepted but I will probably go to another college. How do I reject their offer of acceptance?

Dont feel bad voldymoldy, my friend got into csulb (acceptance rate is around 30%) but got rejected from usf (60%)…

they give you a package and on the first page of the magazine thing, you can tell them you dont want to go.

i got 5k for fafsa and 17k from the university but… **** lol. that only covers HALF the tuition so I’m declining cuz you know MY MOMMA CAN BUY A CAR w/ that money and i only make like 5-7k a year myself -_-

anyways one of you lucky people in waitlist will have a better chance now lol.

lolololol. WHY SO EXPENSIVEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

heymei, im in the same situation!

They covered about 60% of my tuition, but if you think about it, tuition rates will continue to escalate and it will probably cost more than $60,000 after our freshman year. I fell in love with USF at first (was accepted to their Nursing program, one of the best in the countries) but had to decline because of the price. So long, San Francisco

:( boo lol i’m a junior actually but yes bonsaitrees, this is a sad sad day. OHWELL D:

Son accepted with scholarship! Wow!
