I would like to see the scores and GPA's of those students who were recently admitted into UT-Austin.

GPA doesn't matter, as it isn't in the formula they use to decide if you are admitted.

Texas top ten graduate, 1550/2350 SAT (800 CR, 750 M, 800 W (78 MC, 12 E)). Ranked 9/280. GPA is 96.55 weighted.

I have never seen a more confusing post. Thanks theloneranger for opening my eyes to the most confusing post ever...lol

I think what he meant is that if you're top 10% and don't have a criminal record or anything of that sort, you're pretty much in and stats are somewhat irrelevant.

And then he just gave you his stats anyway.

Yeah, top 10% get in automatically. I got my letter like, 3 weeks ago. There's 7 people in my entire senior class, and I'm just barely number 1. My GPA is 3.93, and my SAT scores were about 1960... I think that the top 10% get in first, because my friend and I applied at the exact same time, and she hasn't recieved a letter as of yet.

OOS

Yeesh yall's scores pretty much make me feel a bit less accomplished.

I totally should've studied and/or taken an SAT class but I was lazy and didn't. Same with ACT. Didn't study AT ALL.
