1230-June 2002 to 1560-October 2004
I know this is common sense, but for those not happy with your score, I would really recommend doing old SATs. I did at least one set of test per week for the month and a half before my Oct SAT. It seems like a lot of work, but it'll pay off, trust me.

really? thankks~ that was my plan neway... where did u get the old tests from? just like the SAT prep books?

I actually took a class. But I think it was a waste of time except for the 3-hr tests each week. The 10 real SATs will work very well. Good luck!

jesus, i came into this thread thinking that i was going to be the champion with a 190 point increase with a very intensive 3 month study, 1330-1520, instead i think i came in last :(
yy0712....1230-1560.....WOW

:)

so 10 real SATs? THANK YOU SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH!

YEESSSS, 170 pt improvement, from 1390 in May and 1560 in Oct. Well, thanks to 1500 vocab list and S load of real test. sounds cliche but....Best day in my life

I jumped from a 1340 to a 1480! Hurray for Me!

i went from 1210 to 1400 (190 points) well done to everybody else as well

150 points.

I FELL from my original score by 110 points. I don't know what to say.

1219 last year to 1540 this year

"HOW did u all do it?"

my verbal is more or less the same, but my math jumped up. I had never done math analyticially to any real extent before. Doing a few math competitions, a few tests from 10 reals, and a year of precalc helped me with that.

1st: 1190 (January 2004) (630M 560V)
2nd: 1270 (May 2004) (650M 620V)
3rd: 1450 (Oct 2004) (760M 690V)

So my overall improvement is 260!!! I think I have the highest improvement so far of people who have taken them THIS YEAR (correct me if I'am wrong).

Also, I agree with what yy0712 said. If you don't like your score, my advice is to just take a practice test every week and look over it and see what you missed. From January-October, I finished all the 10 Reals, took 7 Princeton Review tests, 5 Barrons Tests, and a few from the SAT packets that you can get from your school. All together, that's about 25 or 26 practice tests. I know this sounds like a lot, but it works, just look at my score!!! I went from being below 50 percentile in the verbal section in the state of Kansas to 94%!!!

ok PSAT 03' 55 writing skills Oct 04 730.... HAHA

wow.. stelikepali... ur like an inspiration now =) GOOD JOBBBBB

Pretty sure I win... Sophmore year Dec 2002, 1140. Senior year, Oct 2004, 1430. 290 pts. Think I'll raise some red flags?
