I assume most of you went up .... but by how much? How much did your score change from 10th to 11th grade PSAT and then how much did your SAT go up from there? Also, if it did not go up or stayed about the same ... do you attribute that to nerves? A bad day? Or was the SAT much harder than the PSAT?

I was just wondering and trying to get a basis of comparison for what to expect. Thanks CCers!!!!

PSAT (junior): 238
SAT (Nov): 2250
SAT (today): not going to be close to 238, probably more like 2250.
I don’t really know why there’s a big difference there, I really just think it’s that there are a lot more questions on the SAT and therefore a lot more opportunities to make stupid mistakes or misread questions.

11th PSAT October 198
11th SAT January 2000
11th SAT March To be determined, I’m predicting at least 100 points better than my last test looking at what people think answers are.

10th: 219
11th: 228 (but a bubble error in writing brought me from 80 to 77)
March 2009: 2310 (exactly matches 11th if you account for bubble error, including section distribution)
