yes blue and green card
no pin and interview

Nothing yet - but I'm applying RD.
And I literally just sent in my application about 2 hours ago.

still no interview yet. I think i should give up. how does penn know if u were offered an interview or not? I know they don't hold it againt you if it was never offered but I'm just scared an alumni tried contacting me and couldn't reach me and decided to send a very mean letter to penn lol.

no interview from NJ... im feeling depressed
it seems that everyone from NJ got an interview... few kids i know who r applying to penn ED got their interviews in the past couple weeks

errr.. when the adcoms select the applicants for interviews, do they use a particular guideline or do they select randomly?

random 132

don't worry if you haven't gotten an interview. by this point, if you haven't gotten an interview, you probably won't.. (unless you're applying RD, of course)

penn won't penalize you for it

I know that if you aren't offered an interview, you aren't penalized.

But people say that interviews provide really no benefit, they don't help much and can't tip the scale or anything -- So if they won't really help one's app, but an awful interview can probably result in a rejection, why would someone want one?

I had a good interview, btw... But I'm j/w.

why couldn't the interview help you though, if you are right on the fence with everything else and you had a great interview? If a really bad one could keep you out, why couldn't a really good one help you in?

Yeah, I guess it can.

I've been saying, I'm really glad I had a nice interview -- It feels good to know that there's an extra letter for me in the hands of the admissions people.

i agree, i mean, its one more thing, and its nice to know that it certainly doesn't HURT

i had two interviews :-):-)... so two more pieces of paper

sigh, hopefully thatll make up for my 4 out of 9 on that AI calculator
