3.8 UC GPA, 1970 SAT1s, 680/600 SATIIs, 3-4 clubs, lots of Community service, excellent essays (i think so)</p>

<p>I applied as a criminology, law and society major...still waiting...its the only thing i want to study in college, thus i must get into UCI...so far i got into UCR UCSC UCD and Cal Poly</p>

<p>oh yea just for all your references, my x-gf already got into irvine with around a 3.8-3.9 and 1500+ on her SATs, SATiis in the 500 range, and only took 2 APs in high school</p>

<p>STILL nothing (undeclared)... I'm getting pretty angry now.</p>
<p>I've decided to stop waiting for UCI to make a decision and checking the admission site 10 times a day. I want to get on with my life and not wonder why other applicants to UCI with stats similar to mine have been admitted and not I. I know that it is only 5 more days until all decisions are released, but I'm tired of waiting. So it came down to deciding between the UC's that I have been admitted to, UCD, UCSB, and UCSC. I sent in my SIR today to UCD, which was my first choice all along. Best of luck to all of you that are still waiting for a decision.</p>

<p>yeah... guess not. this is irritating... but i'm slowly getting over it. i got into ucsd and that's good enough for me so far... just gotta wait for la i suppose :) but darn you, uci!!</p>
