<p>when do you think they will email international/US citizens living abroad applicants? in the chat they said they email notified us.. i wonder when i'll get it! eek.</p>

<p>if the letters are posted out on monday (today), do you think the emails will be sent out today as well? ha ha, i don't think so (and i'm not sure i hope so either - i actually have a countdown webpage which at the moment reads: 3 days 8 hours till vassar ed email). i've safely assumed i don't get notified before thursday, 15th. and i hope all of us post our decisions as soon as we get them - seole, i'll be emailing them for mine once you receive your letter!! :)</p>
<p>they said at the chat that emails will be sent to admitted internationals. does this mean that we don't get an email if we are not admitted? :confused: :( that would mean i'd go crazy if i get no email between today and the 15th!</p>
<p>gaah! this wait is soooo frustrating. lucky i have something (newsletter and debate) to distract myself with at the moment. otherwise, i'd sit here and watch all my hair turn white.</p>

btw,does Vassar really put much importance on SATs?</p>
<p>hi! i got my email from a representative who visited my school a while back and who has been in contact w/my guidance counselor for a bit. and i got it at 8:10pm moscow time.</p>
<p>i think sat scores at vassar are relatively strong, i got a 2130 combined on mine. 730 CR, 690 M, and 710 W.</p>
<p>Are we sure they sent them out today? Did they say it would definately be today?</p>

<p>well, it said admitted internationals will get emails - which is what freaked me out because i checked my email after i read this post - and got no email - so i'm all semi heart-broken now.</p>
<p>i don't think it emails applicants in america - anyway, if you live near poughkeepsie like you said, you should get it very soon (tomorrow or day after?)</p>

<p>I wouldn't worry if you haven't gotten an email yet, though. I'm pretty sure its by individual officer, not bulk, based on what expatella says and what they said in the chat and stuff...just my impression. I called to find out whether the lack of an email necessarily means you're rejected already, but the lady on the phone had no idea. I don't think the email system is that organized. </p>
<p>Anyway, I guess we all just have to wait it out....although if you haven't gotten an email by Wednesday (internationals only), you might want to email them yourself. </p>

<p>I've reached a point where everytime my dog barks, I run to the window and see if it's the mailman......It's nice knowing it won't come today....tommorow and Wednesday might be hell, though.</p>
