<p>I was accepted, I'm from Canada and was recruited for hockey.
My sat score was 1200 and i submitted it, my graduating average was 84%, however the rule of thumb is that you add 10 % to the canadian average and it will be equivalent to the american grading system. So technically my graduating average was 94%.</p>
<p>I applied RD here..I just wonder how diverse bowdoin is since there aren't any replies from other internationals.. btw I am from Korea and 3 kids applied to Bowdoin from my school ! :D</p>

<p>I graduated from high school in April this year. Taking a year off. Got some work experience and lots of community service this year. I have been top 1% in the class since class 5, graduated with 96% from highschool and have got various awards for academics.
Academic awards:
MCGS scholarship for academics : Class 9,12
Special prize for consistency in Academics: Class 11
Certificate of honour for academics : 9,10,11,12
Special prize for securing 90% in ICSE - Class 10
Special prize for securing 96% in ISC - Class 12
Subject prize for computer science : Class 9,11,12

<p>you didn't submit standardized test results, did you. You seem to have a good shot.</p>
<p>My SAT I scores are M710 V740 and W790 .. dont know whether I should submit or if I could still submit.</p>
<p>Your stats are very good. I couldn't speak English when I took mine and end up with a 690 for verbal. Now I am in college, and my english is way better. I have a 4.0 gpa, and I took composition too. I do not want to retake the sat b/c I am college student now. The toefl? Same story.</p>
<p>You definitely have great grades and stellar scores...I spent some time in India under the ISCE curriculum...very good scores..Which school did u go to??</p>
