do you have work experience? that could be why.. or the classes you took. they take that into consideration a lot too.

the gpa of my math and science classes is 4.3..., i got a 5 on the calc ap test and im in ap physics right now

and a 700 on the math section of the sat

3 ap's 2 honors that were either science or math

i have no work experience in the engineering industry, but i do have work experience

is chico one of your options for engineering!?

CHICO IS A GREAT SCHOOL FOR ENGINEERING. i just took structures there (i live near chico and go there for my senior year). its a great BEAUTIFUL CAMPUS too!!! i love it. if i didn't live ten minutes away, i would go there.

i applied there undeclared, since i have never heard anything about the program there

but if i do the double major at ucsc/cal, then i could get an econ major from ucsc and an engineering major (ME) from berkeley

that seems to be more interesting to me right now

i want to go to grad school, but i think i want to get some time in the work force before i do so, but at this point i havent even decided

well if you want to know anything about chico state let me know or something. i go there everday so yeah. haha

their engineering and nursing programs are huge and well regarded.

No determination for me. You know, I have to be honest with you faceless online people. I can say that it doesn't matter as much as I want to, but I still check my portal compulsively. Frankly, I'm a little crushed. I know I'll get over it, but for now, definitely crushed.

...Anyway... spring break time! :)

jtotheew are you going to go to cal poly?

if he doesnt go, i wouldnt mind taking his spot...

No decision yet.
GPA: 3.9
9 APs total
with lots of extra-currs
ME
I've already been accepted to UCD, UCSC, and UIUC (Illinois Urbana-Champaign, really up there in ME).

ne determination for me either :(
w gpa 3.7-3.8 i forget
SAT 1170
for Nutrition

if only someone would make a list of the order of majors are decided; make us less paranoid, and less traffic over the internet for checking status.

Can anyone tell if the UC and CSU GPA's are the same?

for requirement to get in, or after you get in

I mean for calculating them.

ya, same, 10-11 weighted

no decision yet for me either. i'm going for business administration.
weighted gpa: 3.75
SAT: 1250

I kind of wish i knew how impacted it was before i applied for that major, i could've gone with economics instead.

I am actually visiting this Monday to check it out. If i like it, most likely I will go.. Otherwise I'll go to UCSB if i get in or LMU with a small scholarship. did you get in SDchargers? Also I have like 20-25 hours of stuff. and i did have work experience but not related to my major. I am in calc ab, physics reg, and ap stat. I'm pretty surprised i got in.

what's your major

I'm still waiting for Child Development.

3.4 W, 3.3 UW
1800 SAT
AP and honors classes
all work experience related to major

pretty sure i'll be rejected though, my GPA's too low. :(

I got in with a 3.3! :)
Is Child Development really impacted?
