Who is supposed to be my "advisor" as an international transfer student?

<p>I cant figure out the part in the common application that asks for information about my "advisor". Who the hell is supposed to be my advisor? can it be a random teacher or is it a specific person?</p>

<p>Im an international transfer btw and this question is in the education section.</p>

<p>“Advisor” means college counselor. Is there one at your school? It’d be whoever wrote your “counselor recommendation.”</p>
