Can we talk about it here? Or do you have to have an official thread or something?

There will be a thread made on the day of the test.

Oh, this is going to be like the regular SATIs, then.

… Spend four hours on the exam, spend the next ten talking about it on CC.

Exactly :)

Does anyone know when we get our scores? Are we going to have that ridiculous wait like with the March SAT?

May 22 online

Except, Monoclide, that the SAT II is only one hour long… yay i guess?

;)

Im taking it. Hopefully cracking 650. Even better would be above a 710. It’s easier than APUSH and Im in that now so it shouldn’t be too bad. Im taking Math Level II and English Lit Saturday as well

Yeah, condensed torture!

But, we’d still probably make hours out of it. Haha. I won’t be on, though - company coming over.

I am! I got a 560 on the practice test on Sparknotes. Then a 610 and 650 with Kaplans I hope to get 700+.

Crash Course is great for this. Even if it is read alone. I have been reading from REA (Big yellow book, reading this for APUSH) and Crash Course, and I am about to finish Crash Course today; it has helped tremendously.

How do you study w/ Crash Course? Just read it?

I read CC once and it beefed up my MC for the APUSH exam by a ton so I could only guess it would be similar for the SAT II.

I’ve been jointly reading Sparknotes and Barrons. I scored a 700 on a practice exam last night (Sparknotes), hopefully, the test is around that.

Going to go over the glossary terms (about ten million) and take 5+ more practice tests today. IT’S GAME TIME.

What are you guys going to do today? Im thinking of skimming and going over crash course?

i’m reading AP achiever

woo hoo i just read the entire 19th century in 2 days. i hated everything that had to do with events leading up to the civil war & then the whole southern reconstruction period thereafter. i found the 19th cent in america to be incredibly dull, unlike the cultural advances made in europe during the time. but anyways, my ap ush teacher (who has a ph d in some area of history … i forget) takes questions from the REA book and i must say that book is really quite helpful.

AMSCO & Spark Notes FTW

AMSCO and Spark Notes also. I haven’t been doing all that well with practice tests, but that’s what I get for not taking it last year after taking APUSH. Oh well. Good luck tomorrow everyone!

sigh… how low of a raw score can we afford usually if we want an 800? LOL actually nvm, that isn’t happening for me. <_<
