I thought Matt damon was 'famous' before he went to Harvard..
Didnt he film+write that movie called Good Will Hunting before Harvard?

Correct me if im wrong but Alicia Keys chose Columbia records instead of Columbia University (ie she did not attend) - I read that in some magazine. But even if she didnt attend, kudos for her for getting in!

You folks all really need to get out more. I know your lives are completely consumed by the college admissions process, but I think you can do better than measuring smartness by whether someone was once admitted to an Ivy League university.

Nope. He started writing the story that later became Good Will Hunting while he was attending Harvard. But it didn't get finished and made into a movie until after he had dropped out and moved to Los Angeles.

It surprises me that Will Smith got so high on his SATs and can solve a Rubik's Cube. I actually remember on an episode of Fresh Prince he solved a Rubik's cube for an Admission guy from Princeton and the guy thought he was like a genius. They were begging him to come to Princeton. Of course Carleton was jealous. IMO though Rubik's cube are not that hard to learn how to solve. Im pretty sure anyone on CC can learn to solve one. My fastest is like a little over a minute.

Meryl Streep is pretty smart. Went to Yale, has had a terrific, award winning career, all while maintaining a private life, hasn't had any horrifying plastic surgery, and has her pick of roles.

i agree with extemporaneous. Dropping out of Harvard was a really smart move. I mean its not like he's working at McDonalds. Bill Gates was too good for Harvard.

I read somewhere that George W Bush's scores were both in the 500s...(It said that numbers, but I just can't remember them). How the hell do u get a 1206 anyways?

There are alot of smart celebrities like Amerie (Georgetown), John Legend (UPenn), Lucy Liu (Michigan), John Stewart (Williams and Mary), Stephen Colbert (Northwestern), etc.
