Who is your school's most famous alumnus?

Ours could be Jim Lovell (played by Tom Hanks in Apollo 13), or perhaps Dick Cheney? Haha

Who is your university's most recognizable or famous alum?

We have a Wikipedia article dedicated to this. o.O

Umm…George Washington Carver, Ed Droste (co-founder of Hooters) are two that I can think of right now. But its late and I’m rather tired so… -laugh-

Monica Lewinsky.

Awh yeahhhhh

My school has produced numerous intellectuals, scientists, and writers. But alas, the most famous alumnus is Newt Gingrich. :(

It was Subway’s Jarad, but I think in the last several years Mark Cuban has over taken him in popularity. (Indiana)

Jim Yong Kim, the President of the World Bank. He is a former Dartmouth College President and former Chair of the Department of Global Health and Social Medicine at Harvard Medical School. (This is for my high school.)

Emily Giffin (author), Kay Hagan, Richard Burr, Larry Kissell, Brian Piccolo, Arnold Palmer (probably our most famous by a long shot), Webb Simpson, Ricky Van Veen (co-creator of College Humor). Those are just a few, but I guess its nice to have such a selection. :)

Denzel Washington, Amanda Seyfried, Lana Del Rey (back when she was Lizzy Grant haha), and Andrew Cuomo. Also Vince Lombardi, but that was a LONG time ago.
