<p>Prepare for the exams by having a good course in Calculus, Freshman Physics (mechanics, and some e&m), and chemistry. Review the material and know it well. The exam can be administered at your home institution -- Caltech will mail it to a professor that agrees to proctor the exam, and you will sit for while the professor monitors you.</p>

<p>Google "Caltech math" and "caltech physics" and browse the links to the "courses" websites. Look for courses numbered "1" and "2". That is the material you need to know.</p>
