his new CD came out a couple days ago! SOOOO good

CDs, actually! Two!

Soooooooo good. <333

I was supposed to go see him on Sunday, but I realized the CDs just came out and I wouldn't know any of the songs (and it's supposed to sleet and snow that night so it would be really dangerous coming home).

bright eyes omfg... i hate emo kids

willywonka,

where was he playing?

also, one of the CDs that came out was "im wide awake its morning" and the other one was only an EP right...only four songs on it right?

jet, neither of the new CDs are emo. At all. He screams a total of one time (and it rules).

The concert is in Norfolk, tomorrow. Sob.

In the fall of 2004, two EPs came out. "Lua" and "Take it Easy (Love Nothing)". Lua has four songs, Take it Easy has three. Last Tuesday, "I'm Wide Awake It's Morning" and "Digital Ash in a Digital Urn" both came out-- obviously, the song "Lua" is on IWAIM, and that's the style that the EP is in, too. "Take it Easy" (the EP) and DADU are both more digital (as the name says), electronic-sounding, but it's a very good album as well.

lol... some of my friends listen to bright eyes and they are the kids who where eye liner and tight jeans all the time

but i hear he is the new thing now adays, hes in all these magazines and gettin lots of media attention as of late so i can understand why ya like him

i don't like bright eyes because "hes in all these magazines and gettin lots of media attention of late".....i like him because he writes a good song. My dad actually turned me on to bright eyes about 3-4 years ago....and i've been a fan ever since...i agree that some of his songs get a little whiney--but when he writes a good song, he strikes gold. And Isn't all music/art 'emo'-tional anyways...i mean, music/art is inspired by emotions for the most part right?

My friend gave me a copy of Lifted on the last day of school, tenth grade. For the three months after that, I would have been one of the first people to make fun of Bright Eyes; then, at the end of the summer, I suddenly noticed that practically every song on the album was stuck in my head. It took a long time to notice, but he's amazing.

lol. kewl thread.
