Who said the Pac-10 is a weak conference?

We win the championship game: 100%
We lose the championship game: 98%
We win the rose bowl: 95%
we lose the rose bowl: 90%
We suck the rest of th year: like 85%

All together (not average) like a a 90% chance he declares...

^Thanks. No offense, but I hope he jumps to the next level. One, I'm excited to see how he does in the NFL and two, I hope the Broncos pick him up.

Pac-10 running backs are holding it down in the NFL: Maurice Jones-Drew, Reggie Bush, Marshawn Lynch.

I'm so pumped for the game tonight!

Hey, don't forget about former USC RB's LenDale White and Justin Fargas. Both of them actually have more yards rushing this season than does Jones-Drew.

UCLA is up on Arizona State: 10-0

^ Hehe...so typical. But ASU is notorious for slow starts.

true daaaaaat

Now I know there are gonna be comments about our loss, so before anyone says anything I want to say if you watched the game you leave satisfied. Very entertaining game, both sides played well and the last play would definitely put a smile on your face. It just shows that albeit our major injury problems we still had fire and could play a very diverse and entertaining playlist. ASU played a solid passing game in their respect and our defense held it down as usual. The surprise comes in how well our fourth string QB played and kept it close the whole way. And of course the crazy lateral play reminiscent of that DIII game had everyone excited until the very end.

Good game, I know everyone that watched it enjoyed it.

So anyway, I'm on Cal's side for one of the very few times this year tonight. Guess why :p. Let's see you guys pull off an upset.

OHIO STATE LOST!!!! that means Oregon is in the championship game if they don't screw up....and Arizona State came back and one...typical them :D

Someone please tell me why, 1st and goal on the 2 yard line, WHY DOESNT HE JUST DO A STRONG TOSS TO THE LEFT OR RIGHT FOR FORSETT OR BEST TO UTILIZE THEIR SPEED????? WHY WHY WHY?

Because there's a better chance for the o-line to open up a hole in the middle where they can work off of eachother then to for them to push the whole d-line the other way. Basic goal-line offensive strategy.

Tosses have their place but the go to play in those situations is the run up the middle, always..

Can you tell me how many times we have seen Goal-line situations this season and how many times we have had to kick Fieldgoals.....? Anyone wanna calculate that ratio this season?

So is anyone going to take a stab at defending tonite's game?

-Rain/Weather?
-Trojan Defense?
-Cal Defense?
-Nate Longshore?
-Lack of throws to WR's?

So whats the reason this time around?

It's not lack of throws. To me it seemed to me that Longshore and his receivers consistantly screwed up their passing routes. Communication problems because of the rain? I don't think so.
I am so sick and tired of watching Longshore throwing interceptions during those crunch times. I thought he was going to be another Aaron Rodgers when I saw him play last year, now he is reminding me more and more of Joe Ayoob.

This is the frustrating question of the year. How many f'n goal line tries is Cal gonna try and run it in, only to be stuffed?!

Tedford is stubborn.

Also, how many tackles is Cal gonna miss? We're right in Booty's face only to stop and get soft.

It's time for Riley...the season's over. Let the young phenom get some playing time.

Longshore only has one TD in the 4th quarter for his entire career?! He's not a crunchtime guy.

What did you guys think of Cal's throwback unis? I liked 'em.

Disgusting. Green Bay Packers with blue in place of green. They were throwbacks from the 70's/80's, right?

^ Yes, from '75. Did give a '70s feel to the game. They kinda looked like the blue version of the Trojans unis.

I woulda had a blue helmet with yellow 'C' and white numerals on the jerseys instead.

The throwback Unis were in honor of Joe Roth, mega , who died of melanoma after his best season in 76 or 77. Show some respect or be quiet.

Anyway, Longshore needs to be canned. This is getting ridiculous. The number of fumbles, interceptions and overall turnovers he is responsible for is getting deplorable and Tedford needs to get over his fixiation with Nate and stop grudging on Riley. Enough is enough, honestly. I'm tired of losing games because Nate throws lousy passes and interceptions at clutch moments.
