Who said the Pac-10 is a weak conference?

^ Two of those interceptions were against the Colts, correct?

it's all good, sheed. yes, ucbchemgrad. They said he is on pace to get 61 touchdowns. Brady and Adrian Peterson are both beasts.

yeah, adrian was insane. to bad it came at the cost of my hometown team lol!

sheed: i actually like having you on here, and i get your point about the title of the thread, but that being said, the fact that i posted it on cal's link and not oregons, after the cal-tn game, shouldda insinuated that it was to talk about cal football. but whatever, i think we're both over it lol.

ucb: well, it was getting to the rest of us and majority rules :)

but anyway, what round was brady drafted in? not too high, if i remember correctly.

^ Brady was drafted in the 6th round.

How do you think Cal will play USC? Think Cal will come out hungry, and try to get to the Holiday Bowl?

Don't laugh at the Bruins...be nice, but the last 3 games of their season are: ASU, Oregon, and USC...ouch.

........Which we will win decisively and go to the Rose Bowl :).

Right.

Haha, Karl Dorrell would be officially removed from the hot seat and all would be forgotten at that point. Stranger things have happened this season.

Gee, can you imagine UCLA as the winner of the Pac-10... not being able to beat the worst Notre Dame team in history? The college football world would write off the Pac-10 for years.

i think cal will come out hard against SC. The seniors have never beaten them, and so it will be their time to get it done. the blood is always up in that rivalry, so i have faith, no matter how small it may be!

Cal -USC in my opinion is such a toss up, I don't even know what to write..could easily go either way..Booty is back so.....I just don't know...

um if ASU wins the rest of its games, and oregon wins rest of its games, but Ohio State and LSU are chosen for NC game, then who goes to the rose bowl?

^ Oregon, since they beat ASU...that's the tie breaker.

Hey guys check this bit from SF Chronicle:

"If Cal wins its final three games while ASU loses twice(which is possible), and UCLA loses once(which is likely), the Bears would be 9-3,tied for second and possibly among the top 14 in the final BCS standings. That might put Cal in the Rose Bowl if Oregon were in the BCS title game."

Given this crazy college football season, anything is possible! So hope is not lost yet Cal fans!!

^ Also, Cal needs to win out for that to happen.

Cal has U$C, Washington, and Stanford.
ASU has UCLA, USC, and Arizona
UCLA has ASU, Oregon and USC.

The way UCLA is playing I don't see them winning any of their remaining games.

Cal's biggest hurdle will be USC. Washington and 'furd are possible trap games.

ASU could lose against UCLA, depending on how they come out of the defeat at Oregon, and USC would match up well - that game will be a toss up.

The planets need to align for Cal's season, but there is a chance.

Yeah, the exact same thing happened last time, when we began speculating how we still had the chance for the Rose Bowl after we lost to UCLA. We got burned by ASU. Should not get hopes up this time, USC is going to be tough, with Booty back and all.

I like our chances against Booty versus Sanchez.

I think the Pac-10 has the most drama out of any of the conferences.

If the planets need to align for you guys to go to the RB then the Sun needs to start revolving around the Earth for us.

Basically, it's not gonna happen either way :).

If Cal, ASU & UCLA (hahaha, not with Dorrell on the sidelines) end up tied for second, I'm not sure why Cal would get a nod over ASU in the BCS pageant.....

btw: what about a USC with three losses?

not sure bluebayou. Also, I'm guessing Rose Bowl commitee would love to have Cal, with our, what is it, 50 year absence or something like that?

I'm sure they would...and it's definitely a bigger market than Arizona State..I mean Arizona or California...I wonder which state is bigger?????

ASU beat Cal, therefore ASU would be selected for RB over Cal.
UCLA beat Cal...in this hypothetical scenario of a 3-way tie for second, the team going to the RB would be the ASU/UCLA winner.

Sheed, what is the probability that Jonathan Stewart declares for the draft after this year?
