Who said the Pac-10 is a weak conference?

vc08 i meant big game in terms of BCS..as in we better win like 49-0

My prediction: 41-17

oops...i meant "it's possible that Oregon and Az St could both still be undefeated now..."

by the way, Kansas misses OU, TX, and TxTech on their regular Big12 schedule. the big12 teams they played so far have a combined losing record of 29-35 while the three misses have a combined record of 25-7!!!

Sam, interesting insight, very true IMO. That's why I think UO should go over an undefeated ku.

You're a twit on so many levels, vc08. I prove you wrong and you go ahead and start bashing me and my school? If I don't follow CFB very closely, and I still disprove your statements.....how bad does that make you look?

And in case you didn't notice March Madness is March Madness BECAUSE of the playoff system that's in college basketball, so what are you trying to say? College football has nothing that even compares. You're proving my point in your own ignorance.

And don't be ****ed at me that we have cooler slogans and songs than you guys(sorry to the other cal fans, I just had to say it to this dude). And as far as a UCLA football thread goes, I already made one, and I already posted my reasons for posting here as well. If you haven't followed, it's your own fault.

Apparently I can't have a clean discussion here without vc08 or some other idiot being stupid, so this will be my last post here. It was good talking to you other guys who were decent(namely UCBCEG) and accepted outside opinions. It's sad that some of you can't handle differing viewpoints and can't discuss good-spiritedly, your loss.

Geez, it's sucks for Oregon fans. Poor Dennis Dixon and Oregon, I guess it's goodbye to national championship. Hopefully, they make the Rose Bowl, which means both USC and ASU got screwed.

Ha! Not as much as some of the other boats out here.

Sorry Sheed....still have chance at Rose Bowl I guess.

Hey guys, I hadn't been to a Cal game since I graduated...so, I go to a college football message board, and the Cal Band is getting props from an LSU fan for this performance:

YouTube - Cal Band- Video Game Show 2007

Very impressive indeed! Man, that's amazing!

This sucks. Oregon could have easily beaten Arizona had Dixon not been injured. One unlucky injury just cost a school a chance a shot at a national championship and millions of dollars in revenue.
Gosh, Arizona is always pulling off these annoying upsets of top-ranked teams. Last year, they beat us Cal and took away all the momentum from us, so we ended up losing to SC and lost the bid for Rose Bowl. Now they ruin Oregon's hopes. They are inadvertently doing Pac-10 a huge disfavor

Lets hope they don't beat Arizona State and make things worst for the pac 10.

sorry sheed! Rose Bowl is still a great bet!

so oregon would need ASU to lose to USC, right?

that vid is great. check out the "cal state" comment and response. someone jumped on that lol!

So if ASU beats USC and Arizona, then they are going to Rose Bowl over Oregon, correct?

^ Yes, since Oregon currently has two conference losses, ASU needs to lose again, either to USC or Arizona, for Oregon to get to the Rose Bowl. (Oregon also needs to win out...UCLA and Oregon State)

If ASU and Oregon have tied records at the end of the season, Oregon would go to the RB since Oregon beat ASU during the season.

A lot can happen guys...right now ASU Scum Devils are in the driver's seat. Thanks to their arch-rivals - the Mildcats.

If Dixon can't play the rest of the season, then I think Oregon State has a real good chance of beating the Ducks. It all hinges on how Dixon fares.

^ Heck, UCLA would have a good chance if Dixon is out - especially since it's at the Rose Bowl.

Dixon's injury didn't look too serious. He was strolling the sidelines without crutches.

I wonder if Sheed is crying somewhere...

I was crying somewhere for quite a while. lol, no jkjk...I am pretty sad though, it's really disappointing, but i guess it was bound to happen. 2 out of our top 3 receivers were injured 1 out of our top 2 running backs were injured, so i guess it was time for Dixon to be injured as well. I was sooo happy after that 39 yard TD on the first drive, I was like, now Dixon really did heal, but i guess not :( hopefully USC can step up and beat Arizona State and we can somehow go to the Rose Bowl.....Why does Arizona like to screw their entire league over? They suck and should just leave lol

peace, I'll go back to crying. It was fun while it lasted...

I still don't believe it

Like I said, Arizona inadvertently does Pac-10 a big disfavor. Listen to this from Mike Bellotti:

"I think he's probably done for the year," coach Mike Bellotti said after the game. "That would be my guess. … I don't know the degree [of the injury]. I haven't talked to them [the doctors] completely. I think there's some instability in the knee joint, which again, he went out there and felt something shift, and that obviously points to something more serious."

That could mean the end of Oregon season.

I didn't see the play, since I tuned in during the 3rd quarter, but from what I understand Dixon tripped himself up...not an AZ Mildcat roughing the passer.

'Zona just cost the Pac-10 millions...Pac-10 likely will only get to the Rose Bowl, instead of having two teams in BCS bowls.
